HomeTurf Mascot ideas

Help us create a mascot

We need your help creating a mascot to bring the HomeTurf app to life. We have been struggling to find a character that makes interacting with the app a more fun experience.

  • Gusty, a smiling cloud blowing a disc along
  • Whizz, a spinning orange disc with a big grin
  • Skip, a border collie leaping to catch a disc
  • Lickety, a frog in a number 1 vest snatching a disc with its tongue
  • Flick, a hummingbird surfing on a spinning disc
  • Boomer, a kangaroo in a headband jumping for a disc
  • Otis, an otter floating on his back with a disc on his belly
  • Swipe, a seagull in a cap riding a disc

Sketch of Gusty

Gusty

A puffy little cloud with rosy cheeks and a big goofy grin who blows up a gust to send the disc flying further than anyone else can throw it. Always gives a thumbs up, always in a good mood, and turns up wherever the wind is right for a game.

Sketch of Whizz

Whizz

The disc itself, come to life. A bright orange flying disc with huge excited eyes and a wide open laugh, spinning so fast the air whirls around it. Whizz loves nothing more than being thrown and can't stop grinning until someone catches it.

Sketch of Skip

Skip

A scruffy black-and-white border collie with a green collar who never lets a disc touch the grass. Launches off all fours, snatches it out of the air with a grin, and is back at your feet before you've finished the throw, asking for another.

Sketch of Lickety

Lickety

A cocky sporty frog in a number 1 vest, shorts, wristbands and high-top trainers. Springs off a lily pad and snags the disc mid-air with a lightning-fast pink tongue, then catches it with one hand like it was easy. Fast, flashy and a bit of a show-off.

Sketch of Flick

Flick

A tiny green hummingbird who surfs on top of a spinning disc, feet gripping the rim and wings buzzing to keep balance. Small but fearless, Flick rides every throw to the end and always knows exactly where the disc is going to land.

Sketch of Boomer

Boomer

A sporty kangaroo in a green headband who bounds up out of the long grass to pluck the disc out of the sky at full stretch. Big jumps, long reach and a tail for balance, Boomer is the one you want on your team when a throw goes high.

Sketch of Otis

Otis

A laid-back otter who floats on his back in the lake with a disc resting on his belly like a raft. Otis is the chilled-out one, happy to bob about between games, but he'll splash straight into the water to fetch any throw that goes astray.

Sketch of Swipe

Swipe

A loud, cheeky seagull in a backwards cap and striped socks who swoops down, grabs the disc with both feet and rides it off laughing. Swipe is always hanging round the park waiting to nick a disc, so you'd better keep your eyes on the throw.
